Cheque in The Mail.. Again!
I’ve been itching for another cheque. It’s been a while. It’ll sure feel great to open up the mailbox and tadah! there it is again. It doesn’t matter how big or small the amount.
2 days later, amongst my various bills, there it is. A cheque for $90. Geez, wished I had visualized for ‘BIG’ instead of ‘no matter big or small’.. WHACK! A slap on my own head for that. Haha, just kidding. I am every bit grateful for it. It has become very much like a game.
What was the cheque for by the way? It was from the hospital for an overpayment about 3 or 4 months ago. Hmm..that makes me wonder, will the hospital give me that if I hadn’t visualized it? I guess some questions are beter not answered

My Blogspot Blogger Friends – Hi There & Welcome!
Hello there my Blogger Friends. It’s really nice to see you here.
Let me take this opportunity to introduce everyone to one another. Hopefully in this way we can all widen our circle of network. In no particular order, here are the great folks who have inspired me in my blogging/twittering/online business in one way or another:
And the following are some of my Blogger Followers/Friends whom I trust have either enjoyed my blog or derive some benefits from reading it:
The Perfect Nanny – Manifested!
My kids just adore her. She’s been living with us for 5 days by now. So far she’s very much exceeded my expectations (which are very high!)
- Her name is: Shinta Hermawati
- She’s from: Jakarta, Indonesia
- How old is she?: 23, young and energetic
- Her disposition: Very pleasant, soft-spoken, respectful and polite
- What I like about her: She has a lot initiative, very good with (my) children and hardworking (though I have to keep reminding her that she needs to rest and eat well too if she is going to do her work well and have the energy to keep up with my forever buzzing 1.5yr old toddler!)
- She speaks: Indonesian. For someone who says she can’t speak English well, I say she’s okay; I heard her speak it to my girls.
The past few days Shinta practically ‘detox’ my entire kitchen and kitchen bathroom. Initially, she kept me wondering what in the world she was doing back there, doing stuff for hours non-stop. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and just let her ‘do her thing’. When she’s done, OMG, I’m blown away. I’ve never seen my kitchen (which has been a ’shipwreck’ for ages) looking so neat, clean, organized and … just excellent. I feel so grateful and blessed having her in the house.
Shinta still has a long way to go, to ‘do her thing’ for the living room, 3 bedrooms, the storeroom, etc. But “there is no hurry” I told her. I need her to assist me watch over my 2 girls too when I am busy with ‘work’ (blogging and fixing up my bookstore Wealth-Inspired Books).
The past 2 days, my husband and I brought her to both our parents’ places. They seemed to have pretty good vibes about her as well. The only thing that Shinta is not capable of doing is cook. But hey, I don’t quite need her to. With my hands and legs free (from my toddler climbing all over me) I do the cooking. About time I have my practice anyway. And when my husband is around, he cooks; he loves to cook.
Well, what more can I ask for. What I Visualize, I Manisfest. Shinta is everything I had Visualized for. In fact, I can’t help pinching myself when I think about it because, when I was doing the Visualization and jotting down on paper the list of criteria I was looking for in my Perfect Live-In Nanny, I did state “ability to cook not necessary.” A Big HAHA!!! to myself!

Nannies Shortlisted
I’ve shortlisted and interviewed 4 potential candidates thus far; 2 via telephone, 2 in person at the Maid Agency.
With 3 of them, I felt no connection whatsoever. Although their biodata looked compelling enough, there was just something which did not feel right. And with my Visualization Technique that I’ve been using for so long, I’ve always learnt to trust my instincts.
Shinta was the 4th girl; 23yrs of age, petite and pleasant looking. She was the one I felt an urge to find out more about when I went through her biodata via the Agency’s website. When I met her in person to interview and have a chat with her, I felt positive vibes. I had brought my 2 kids along. Nadia, my older girl whose 8, was smitten with her. She said Shinta sounded intelligent and seemed like someone who can be a playmate for her. Farah, my 1.5yr old baby, seemed comfortable with Shinta, even when I (purposely) left her with the latter for a short while alone.
Okay, I will sleep over it tonight. I will let my actions tomorrow be my guide, on the next step to take.

Visualizing The Perfect Live-In Nanny
Recently my husband and I decided to get a live-in helper, after deliberating over it for more than a year. Although I will still attend to my children’s basic needs myself, it is very important that we have a constant, trusted person to watch over them when I am busy, considering the 2 girls are spirited, highly energetic and continuously doing all sorts of stunts. They are by the way, 1.5 and 8 years old.
The English Wikipedia states that a nanny may perform tasks such as:
- Providing childcare during the hours agreed upon with the employing family
- Supporting the physical, social, emotional, creative, and intellectual development of the children of the family
- Protecting the children of the family from harm and ensuring that they have a safe environment
- Preparing appetizing and nutritionally-balanced meals and snacks to the children of the family
- Maintaining good communication with the parents, informing them of each of their children’s development and concerns in behavior
- Maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of the house as affected by the children of the family
My requirements for the nanny are only for items 1, 3 and 6. However, never did I realize that the process of getting one, a Good One, can be so difficult, confusing even.
I am utterly clueless that I finally resort to what I do best; VISUALIZE IT. And so here I am!
Today is my DECISION day – I DECIDED to attract for myself, the perfect match of a nanny for my children.
I’ll catch up with you again on my next post on it tomorrow!

Twitter Visualization Challenge – MANIFESTED!!!

HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Item Manifested: My Dream Electric Bicycle
Date Manifested: Day 15 (24 March 2009)
How Manifested: ..well, read on!
THE UNEXPECTED ‘EXTRA’ CHEQUE
Hubby was at work, called me to look out for the mails. He’s expecting a cheque for some consulting work he did for a personal contact last month. I got that mail, with the cheque as expected. It was generous but I’ve seen this before so I stuffed it back into the envelope. Then something slipped out. Another cheque! It was for $816. Hmm..what’s that for?
THE PUZZLING CONVERSATION
When hubby came home, he didn’t looked like he was expecting 2 cheques.
You see, I handed him the envelope with the bigger amount cheque..but I’ve hidden the extra one, hehe..
We were in the car after dropping Nadia off to her extra class.
Me: “What if, there is another cheque, could I have my Electric Bike?”
Hubby: (puzzled. obviously) “What cheque? Why?”
Me: “Nothing, just asking….(pause)..but IF so, could I?”
Hubby: (looked at me) “Hmm..but why? What cheque?”
Me: “Just asking. Just answer.”
Hubby: ” I don’t know, I can’t promise. Can’t promise on something which is not there.”
Me: “I’m not asking you to promise Anything. I’m just saying ‘what if?’ That’s all.”
Hubby: “I don’t know. Don’t want you to be disappointed.”
Can’t stand this any longer. So I said, “alright, alright! I found another cheque in the envelope. What is that for?”
Hubby: “Hmm? ..Why didn’t you tell me?”
Me: (grinning) “Heee….so can we got to the Bike Shop now?” (grinning)
Hubby turned the car and drove to…the Bike Shop! Just like that!
WHY THERE WERE 2 CHEQUES
Hubby did 2 consulting jobs for a contact. A 2day and a 1day. As the amount on the 1st cheque was rather generous, more than we expected, we thought it was for both the 2 jobs he did. Well, apparently the 1st cheque was only for the 1st job. The ‘extra’ cheque was for the 2nd job. Wow!
THE STRANGE TWISTS
Strange Twist No.1:
I opened up the mail with the cheque on 24th March. But if you take a real close look at the cheque, notice that it was dated 10th March? THAT was the day I actually made the decision to Visualize my Bike, Opened up this Blog, Posted Pictures on it and Announce on Twitter my Visualization Challenge 101 to my Family, Friends & Followers! Hubby’s contact must have gotten some telepathy thingy tuned right into my ‘Request to the Universe’ and he picked up on it right away!
Strange Twist No.2:
The model of Electric Bike that I’ve kind of finalised on, 2 days before I got it, costs $850.
The amount on the ‘extra’ cheque was $816.
That is like, I practically got just what I needed!
THE BIKE, OF COURSE!
Haha, I got Nadia blindfolded just before the bike shop owner delivered it to our place that evening. She was at her extra class when me and hubby went to the shop remember? So she didn’t know.

Look how thrilled Nadia was when she saw the Bike!
I love how the motor / battery / whatever, looks like. The seat is installed with a Security Alarm. When I switch it on, anyone who touches or sits on the seat will activate the alarm. Isn’t that just fabulous.
It has a Cycling Speed of 25-28km/hr. Just nice for me. Cool lights, very bright. Speed button at the handle. A white basket. Battery charges for 6hr and can be used for a couple hrs of continuous usage (I think..I forgot what the shop said) before the next charge.
They gave me this red helmet as a gift.
WHY IS THE BIKE IN THE BEDROOM?

1. It’s brand new and much too precious for me to leave it outside the house, of course!
2. It was in the living room at first, My Showcase. But…Farah, my 1yr old, can’t stop using it as her latest obstacle course to perfect her climbing craze..dangerous..
3. So there it goes, in the bedroom..sigh..
PROOF OF PURCHASE
Hubby got some extras for me; mirror on the right handlebar (for me to do my make-up he said!). Some tape bands thingy (don’t ask me, it’s hubby’s). With delivery charge of $15, it all totals $890. Hubby paid a $90 deposit and we settled the balance of $800 when they delivered it.
IT ALL STILL FEELS SO SURREAL TO ME but PHEW!
I can get used to it though..Thank you to all my Friends & Followers for all your Support & Encouragement!
Nite Nite!
Mona
P.S.
I will be off the computer till Sunday. When I come back on Monday, I’ll start posting on my other Manifestations that I mentioned in my very 1st post. And hmm..I’ll probably think up another Visualization Challenge too. Kind of addictive..
Twitter Visualization Challenge – Day9-13
Thank you to: http://twitter.com/jeanklett, http://twitter.com/Neilw27, my blog Followers, my personal Friends & all those of you who have DM me on Twitter.
HELP! IS THIS GOOD NEWS OR BAD NEWS??
Collected more information about the exact features and specifications of the different models. I’m very particular right to the details. Well, I was informed that the more pricey ones are way too fast for my comfort. Ouch!!
They are fantastic yes, but with a young child and a baby on pillion, THE ULTIMATE SPEED is definitely NOT my priority! So there goes my $1300-$1500 range..sigh.
And that leaves me with the slightly slower models (25-30km/hr). Wish there are slower ones (scaredy me, hehe) but it seems this doesn’t exist in the market. So anyway, these types are going for around $500-$900.
Good News or Bad News? Hmm..
Look me up on Day 14!
Come on, don’t abandon me just yet. I’ve got 17days more to go..
Still need all the support I can get.
Au revoir!
Mona
Twitter Visualization Challenge – Day5-8

LOOKS LIKE IT’S COMING..
My hubby sounds pretty supportive of of me getting my Dream Electric Bike, yahoo! Is he going to buy it for me? Is he going to pay for it? Hmmm… that’ll be really cool & awesome. ..BUT come to think of it, that’s NOT my intention. What’s the fun in that?!
I DO NOT want my hubby to fork out ANY $. I want to do it My Way. I want to VISUALIZE it and MANIFEST it myself. I know I CAN do it. I WANT to do it & I WILL do it.
I’VE DONE IT BEFORE & I WILL DO IT AGAIN
Truthfully, this is not the 1st time I’ve used the Visualization technique to Manifest my desires. Have done it numerous times before. Ever since I was 16 actually. What got me started was when I stumbled upon the world-famous ‘THINK & GROW RICH‘. Yeah, sounds a little cliche I know, but that’s what really happened. And I am so grateful to the late Napoleon Hill for planting the seeds of personal happiness in me.
JUST SOME of the THINGS I’VE MANIFESTED..
The Minor ones:
1. Curly hair (yes, naturally-born) for my 2 little girls

2. Dimples for my (now 1yr old) baby
3. Seat in the train, no matter how crowded
The Major ones:
1. My Darling Husband (we just celebrated our 10th wedding annivesary btw!)
2. My trip to Germany in 1999
3. Family Holiday to New Zealand in 2007
4. My Ideal Home
The Emotional ones:
1. Reconciliating with my dear mother..after a long-drawn painful relationship..
2. Getting court mitigation for a certain young family member (as opposed to 3yrs jail sentence..)
The Recent one:
A practically brand new car at $20,000 off the original price!
I will definitely post on exactly how I Visualized and finally managed to Manifest the above sometime soon. But for the moment, I’ve a duty to fulfill. I’ve promised my Friends & Followers to update them on my current Twitter Challenge 101: my Dream Electric Bike and I’ll be pretty busy with this I guess!
So See Me tomorrow on Day 9!
See what I do tomorrow to inch my way closer to my Dream Electric Bike!
22days more to go..
Tata!

POWER of FAMILY, FRIENDs & FOLLOWERs (3Fs)
Right at the start, I knew I needed help. A push, listening ears, a tap on the shoulder to nudge me on. A kick in the butt too probably! Who else to get all these from, but 1st & foremost my Family, then my Friends, and of course, my Followers, without whom it’ll be a lonely journey.
That’s why I made my intention to manifest my dream Motorized Bike public. I text my hubby about it. Told my 8yr old Nadia & got her all excited. Twitter about it & keep my Followers up to speed. I even set up this entire new Hypnotic Visualization site to blog about it.
In a Nutshell, I just gave myself a very public personal challenge, which I called my Twitter Visualization Challenge 101. Why 101? Well if, erm I mean ‘when’, all this works out, I’d probably consider going for a 102, 103, 1001…why not?
SHOCKING DISCOVERY!
Today I went down to 2 bicycle shops to check out what’s available in the market. Hoping to get to test some out as well. The 1st shop was rather disappointing. The (husband & wife) owners were pre-occupied with their sales figures (I suppose) in the computer than saying ‘hello’ when I entered. No matter to me. I will definitely not buy anything from them, but that will not stop me from looking around & getting the information I wanted. Thus, I ‘bugged’ them on all the specifications I’m looking out for; colors, accessories, prices, etc.
The 2nd shop I went to, the (also husband & wife combo!) owners were pretty warm & chatty. Unfortunately they were about to close when we arrived. I didn’t get to test any but managed to compare prices.
Anyways, what I discovered from my 2 visits kind of shocked me a little. I found out that over here, those electric bikes that looked very much like motorcycles, are not approved by the LTA (Land Transport Authority). The body structure has got to look like a conventional bicycle. Man, there goes my orange bike! Or even the other two for that matter. They’re those photos I pasted on my blog post yesterday. Guess I gotta remove them huh, sob sob..![]()
OH WELL, I DON’t MIND THESE..

Yeah, I plucked out these pictures from the net too. Really do not know how else to.
See You tomorrow on Day 5!
Find out what I do tomorrow to get closer to my Dream Electric Bike!
26days more to go..
Bye!
