Internet Millionaires Frank Kern & John Reese Interviewed Tony Robbins
Okay, so what does this topic got to do with Visualization?
Well for one, in this video you can clearly see how Tony Robbins had Internet Millionaires Frank Kern & John Reese mesmerized with his signature hypnotic speaking style. I’ve personally felt that awe when I saw him (twice!) during his Unleash The Power Within (UPW) seminars here in Singapore. I first attended as a participant, then as a crew member when he came again. But hey, before I go further with my FIRE-WALK experience at his seminars (yes I did), I greatly suggest you check this video out first.
See how Frank & John lapped up almost every word Tony said? That’s how captivating Tony is in person! Tony shared how the Power of Visualization combined with Belief can have a phenomenal impact on one’s level of Achievement and Success.

Ace Your Job Interview
You’ve done all your due diligence – researched thoroughly on the company, polish your interview skills, groom yourself from head to toe, and practically followed to the letter everything that you’ve read in THE Best Practical Manual for Job-Hunters and Career-Changers” there is available.
Only step left is to face that person who is going to decide on your destiny in the organization you have so yearned to be a part of. What shall you do now?
Well don’t Hope for the Best. Plan and Visualize for the Best of course!
- About 15minutes before your appointment, as with visualizing anything, calm your nerves and gently close your eyes.
- Picture yourself shaking hands confidently with your interviewer(s) just as you are about to leave the room at the end of the interview session. You thank them for their valuable time as you’ve gained tremendously from the discussion and very much look forward to a positive response from them soon.
- Vividly see the smile on their faces as they respond to you just as favorably.
- Feel the energy; the vibes are Affirmative, Encouraging and Certain. Savor it.
- Now open your eyes and immediately make your way to the interview room with poise and confidence.
Note: Acing the job interview in itself is no guarantee that you will get the job. Nevertheless, it is an extremely valuable experience that will definitely serve you well, either in that very interview or in your subsequent ones.

Relief for Tired Moms – at the Beach (or anywhere else for that matter!)
You’re at the beach, trying in vain to snuggle up to that book, get some nice tan you’ve always longed for, or just to wind down, stare at the horizon and simply relax. But alas, after 2hrs, you are still chasing after your buzzing little tyke…as usual.
Fret not. Take refuge in this simple little exercise:
- Settle your nerves and quickly but calmly shut your eyes. (Let the little kiddo scream and struggle in the pram if you have to, so long he/she is safely strapped up).
- See in your mind’s eyes, your child playing happily away with another kid her age, and you looking on at them with a smile on your face).
- Listen to their excited squeals and adorable babbling.
- Feel their joy, ..and Yours.
- Now gently open your eyes, pick your baby up and let her free.
Let nature take its course and patiently observe. You may just be delighted by what happens next.
Note: The other night I was tired, hungry and going nuts with my 21mth old energizer bunny. In this state, who would have remembered to Calm Down and Visualize! It took me a good 1hr of being frustrated before I myself remembered to do what I preach. Well anyway, to cut the story short, in less than 5 minutes, a little girl just slightly taller than mine, appeared at our side. She and my Farah briefly checked each other out, and before I knew it, they hugged, held hands, scuttled off and babbled away excitedly together. I was speechless! When I looked to my left, I saw a sweet but frazzled-looking lady, her mouth wide opened. We spent the next hour sharing our stories of sleepless nights and constant toddler-chasing. We still had to watch out for the little girls just to make sure they are safe…But boy, it felt sooo good.

My Blogspot Blogger Friends – Hi There & Welcome!
Hello there my Blogger Friends. It’s really nice to see you here.
Let me take this opportunity to introduce everyone to one another. Hopefully in this way we can all widen our circle of network. In no particular order, here are the great folks who have inspired me in my blogging/twittering/online business in one way or another:
And the following are some of my Blogger Followers/Friends whom I trust have either enjoyed my blog or derive some benefits from reading it:
The Perfect Nanny – Manifested!
My kids just adore her. She’s been living with us for 5 days by now. So far she’s very much exceeded my expectations (which are very high!)
- Her name is: Shinta Hermawati
- She’s from: Jakarta, Indonesia
- How old is she?: 23, young and energetic
- Her disposition: Very pleasant, soft-spoken, respectful and polite
- What I like about her: She has a lot initiative, very good with (my) children and hardworking (though I have to keep reminding her that she needs to rest and eat well too if she is going to do her work well and have the energy to keep up with my forever buzzing 1.5yr old toddler!)
- She speaks: Indonesian. For someone who says she can’t speak English well, I say she’s okay; I heard her speak it to my girls.
The past few days Shinta practically ‘detox’ my entire kitchen and kitchen bathroom. Initially, she kept me wondering what in the world she was doing back there, doing stuff for hours non-stop. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and just let her ‘do her thing’. When she’s done, OMG, I’m blown away. I’ve never seen my kitchen (which has been a ’shipwreck’ for ages) looking so neat, clean, organized and … just excellent. I feel so grateful and blessed having her in the house.
Shinta still has a long way to go, to ‘do her thing’ for the living room, 3 bedrooms, the storeroom, etc. But “there is no hurry” I told her. I need her to assist me watch over my 2 girls too when I am busy with ‘work’ (blogging and fixing up my bookstore Wealth-Inspired Books).
The past 2 days, my husband and I brought her to both our parents’ places. They seemed to have pretty good vibes about her as well. The only thing that Shinta is not capable of doing is cook. But hey, I don’t quite need her to. With my hands and legs free (from my toddler climbing all over me) I do the cooking. About time I have my practice anyway. And when my husband is around, he cooks; he loves to cook.
Well, what more can I ask for. What I Visualize, I Manisfest. Shinta is everything I had Visualized for. In fact, I can’t help pinching myself when I think about it because, when I was doing the Visualization and jotting down on paper the list of criteria I was looking for in my Perfect Live-In Nanny, I did state “ability to cook not necessary.” A Big HAHA!!! to myself!

Ace Your Basketball Shots
Some years ago, I coached several classes of young athletes (aged 10 to 12) on Mental Skills Training. They were from various sports, including Basketball and Track & Field. One of the kids’ favourite activity was the Visualization Exercise. Here’s a very simple one for making the perfect basketball shot:
- Close your eyes, take a couple of slow, deep breaths and center yourself.
- Feel the ball within your fingers and the control that your hand has over it.
- Visualize yourself making a Perfect Shot, straight into the hoop.
- In your mind’s eye, see and feel yourself smiling at that victorious shot.
- Use as much of your senses to make it as real as possible.
PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT: Practice your shots AND practice your Visualization
Good to note: Before Michael Jordan became the top basketball player ever existed, he would sit quietly in his room and visualize shooting a basketball and scoring each and every time.

Nannies Shortlisted
I’ve shortlisted and interviewed 4 potential candidates thus far; 2 via telephone, 2 in person at the Maid Agency.
With 3 of them, I felt no connection whatsoever. Although their biodata looked compelling enough, there was just something which did not feel right. And with my Visualization Technique that I’ve been using for so long, I’ve always learnt to trust my instincts.
Shinta was the 4th girl; 23yrs of age, petite and pleasant looking. She was the one I felt an urge to find out more about when I went through her biodata via the Agency’s website. When I met her in person to interview and have a chat with her, I felt positive vibes. I had brought my 2 kids along. Nadia, my older girl whose 8, was smitten with her. She said Shinta sounded intelligent and seemed like someone who can be a playmate for her. Farah, my 1.5yr old baby, seemed comfortable with Shinta, even when I (purposely) left her with the latter for a short while alone.
Okay, I will sleep over it tonight. I will let my actions tomorrow be my guide, on the next step to take.

Visualizing The Perfect Live-In Nanny
Recently my husband and I decided to get a live-in helper, after deliberating over it for more than a year. Although I will still attend to my children’s basic needs myself, it is very important that we have a constant, trusted person to watch over them when I am busy, considering the 2 girls are spirited, highly energetic and continuously doing all sorts of stunts. They are by the way, 1.5 and 8 years old.
The English Wikipedia states that a nanny may perform tasks such as:
- Providing childcare during the hours agreed upon with the employing family
- Supporting the physical, social, emotional, creative, and intellectual development of the children of the family
- Protecting the children of the family from harm and ensuring that they have a safe environment
- Preparing appetizing and nutritionally-balanced meals and snacks to the children of the family
- Maintaining good communication with the parents, informing them of each of their children’s development and concerns in behavior
- Maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of the house as affected by the children of the family
My requirements for the nanny are only for items 1, 3 and 6. However, never did I realize that the process of getting one, a Good One, can be so difficult, confusing even.
I am utterly clueless that I finally resort to what I do best; VISUALIZE IT. And so here I am!
Today is my DECISION day – I DECIDED to attract for myself, the perfect match of a nanny for my children.
I’ll catch up with you again on my next post on it tomorrow!
